Which hair straightners are the best...?

GHD's are the best hairdressers use them.Which hair straightners are the best...?
Personally after going through many straightners have to say that the best one Ive ever had was a Remington Wet2Straight. It doesnt do any damage whatsoever and heats up quickly. Also you hair feels soft, and bouncy. So far Ive had it for 3 years and Im stil going. The chi is also a great option.

Just in case: Garnier has this amazing sleek and shine product, which really helps the hair after flat ironing it. Just put a little on your palms, rub together, and comb through your hair

Hope this has helped!Which hair straightners are the best...?
chi is the best.. but expensive.

babyliss is also a good one and a lot cheaper than chi

you will want to get a ceramic straightener... preferably with tourmaline. (ionic straightener) they help to seal the hair cuticle and make it look shiny.

make sure you also use a protective spray before straightening.

nexxus makes a good one.. i think it's called thermogenic.

also if you have a sally's beauty supply store near you, they make another good one... silk something.. i forget.. if you ask for a heat protector spray they'll know what you're talking about
CHI for sure is the best !
CHI
i'm a hairstylist and a CHI is my favorite

which hair straightners are be…

I want to get a hair straightner for my mom and sister but im stuck on which one to get her. i recently bought her one that cost over 100.00 but she said it didnt work as good as it should or cost. i heard that the chi is good, but is it? is a flat iron better than some other ones they have like for example there is one that spins and has bristles and thats where your hair goes through rather than it being pancaked between two hot plates. there is also another one that gives out steam while you glide it through the hair?which hair straightners are be…
Jibere ROCKS! Ive been using them for the last 5 years and they ROCK in all kinds of hairs. I've had two (my aunt burned my first one) and I LOVE them. They are not that expensive, I got a huge one for like $60 in Sally. Do use Chi products, I use them and there is NOTHING like it. Chi Silk Infusion ROCKS!which hair straightners are be…
There are so many Straightners out there to use, and we all know that the choice gets difficult. I just recently got a straightner for myself. At first I thought that the more expensive the product, the better. However no matter how many people I asked, they all said that this is not true! So I took some pprofessional stylists advice, and bought a good quality one from the brand: Remington. It is great for 40 dollars. It even includes a setting for what type of hair you have: eg Thick or Fine. I got it from Priceline. And would you believe it? I was thinking to buy from Chi at first! But my stylist said that it was no good. So now I use a great flat iron straigtner!
Sometimes believe it or not, i find some of the cheaper hair straighteners to be the best. I have read many reviews about the one that spins and has the bristles, that is supposedly better for your hair, but from all the reviews i read about it, it sounded like a waste of money.
I've got a cheap straightener.

It cost $25.

And considering i've straightened my hair every day for 2 years, my hair isn't really fried.

Its a bit dull but definitely not fried.

It's a Remington Slimline Ceramic with teflon coating.
CHI is ****, believe me, I have one. It's the pink one. ';Dazzle';. Hmph.

A GHD is the best, IMO.

Oh, and don't buy a cheap straightener, unless you want fried hair.

Which hair straightners are best (Remington or Babyliss?) Thin or thick?

Hi, I'm from the UK and want some hair straighteners. I have heard so much debate about which ones are the best, and am not sure! I have researched which ones I like, and they are made by Remington or Babyliss. There are also ones made by Philips for Tresseme which look good. Many people say that GHD are the best, but I can't afford them and my mum was shocked at the price so I don't think i'll be able to get any for Christmas either.

Can people who have the Babyliss Pro 230 Elegance (the gold one), Babyliss 2085U Pro OR any of the Remington Professional ones like (Straight in a stroke or Damage Defence (S9000) or Protect and Shine Pro Slim 230 Ceramic (S2014), or Wet 2 Straight thin or wide) tell me which of these is the best? Also I think it depends on my hairtype. I have about shoulder length thin hair but lots of it! I think for thin hair it is better to get the thin straighteners, but it will take longer. With thick ones it will be quicker? What does everyone think? Many Thanks!Which hair straightners are best (Remington or Babyliss?) Thin or thick?
I haven't any experience of either of those brands, but I would recommend thin ones. I have similar hair to you, and find that they are a lot easier to control. I had thick ones before, but it was very difficult to manouvre them, especially around the back of the head. Because of this, I find thin ones a lot quicker. You can also use thin ones to put kinks and loose curls in your hair, with practise!

I have the Nicky Clarke tourmaline straighteners that are in argos for about 拢40, and have been very impressed with them, they work very well for the price. If you really want the GHD's though, why not see if you can get them as an early christmas present.Which hair straightners are best (Remington or Babyliss?) Thin or thick?
I have recently bought Babyliss Freedom straighteners for 拢32 from Littlewoods catalogue (they were on offer but were 拢52 originally). They heat up to 230 degrees, have a really long lead and a base so that you can move around if your socket is a long way from your mirror. I'm getting along really well with them. I had Remington before but they were a few years old so didn't get up to the heat that most do now. Couldn't really fault them except for the heat.
Remington (Slim) every time. I have had Babyliss before, did not rate them.
The best hair straightner i think is the ghd. Deffinitly worth the price. My first straightner was a Remington and lasted about 8months before my hair just started kinking instead of straightening and it just wouldnt last and would take my long thick hair 1hr and 30mins instead of 1hr that it usually would have taken. So I decided to splurge out and buy a ghd. I'll tell you that its the best thing i invested in. My hair will go straight almost straightaway, frizzy hair and fly aways are gone and it will last without going kinky. Also it cut my straightening time down from 1hr to 45mins. So deffinitly worth it. Maybe you could suggest going halfs with the price of it with your mum?! its deffinitly worth it. the Wet 2 Straight one is bad because using a heat around 180 degrees plus is TERRIBLE for your hair. I've heard that Babyliss are pretty good as well.
get remington its the best i have it !
Remington are the best by far, Babyliss break all the time and they are not as hot when heated!
Like the questioner I am buying straighteners. I think I am going to buy the Remington Pro Slim Ceramic 230 (S2014) unless anyone can tell me different. I think that the tin ones must be easier to use!!

Im multi-racial ( mixed black and white), and would like to know which hair straightners are the best?

my hair is curley but not thick its takes to long to blow dry.just want a hair straightner that takes out the curls fast.do those comb hot iron things work?coz i might get 1 of thoseIm multi-racial ( mixed black and white), and would like to know which hair straightners are the best?
Well since your hair isn't very thick buy atleast a $40-50 flat iron.

You'll get your dream hair, trust me.

-x0-Im multi-racial ( mixed black and white), and would like to know which hair straightners are the best?
I'm mixed as well, and it's called ';biracial';. : )

But, I have the same hair type as you, but I don't recommend using a hot comb - they broke my hair off like something terrible.

I now have an FHI straightener, it works best for my hair - and leaves it shiny/smooth.
I'm bi racial as well with Black and Korean and I have curly hair. I use an iIon and it works great for me. It can get up to 450 degrees and its alot cheaper (cost is $80 ish) than a Chi. But whatever you do don't get your hair relaxed curly hair is beautiful and when you get older you'll find better ways to care for it and you'll want to wear it curly.
CHI its awesome...go to google and search it u will find one tht u will like...yes they are expensive but they work really well every salon that i have gone to uses them..i hope i helped(:
Ghd
Chi works really good, all of my friends have it and most of us have curly hair

Which hair straightners are the best?

GHD without a doubt...!!

Iv had loads of different straightners.. my GHDs are defo the best..Which hair straightners are the best?
GHD I'm afraid the most expensive but the best i got mine for Xmas and there the best 1s you can get. They also come with a 1 year warranty mine broke and i got a new pair with a week of posting it off (keep your receipt). Some other straighrters seem to make you hair straight but as soon as moisture hits you hair it gets frizzy. There really hot so I would recommend a heat protection spray cause it also makes your hair softer and it lasts longer.

Hope this helpsWhich hair straightners are the best?
Spent 拢100 on GHD'S - great straighteners but they broke in less than 2 years - sparks actually came out of them and singed my hair! My hairdresser says this is a common fault. Now I've got T3 TOURMALINE - voted best straighteners in a number of reviews when I bought them - they are great. As good as GHD - still pricey though nearly 拢100 but you get what you pay for with straighteners I'm afraid!
ghd's are usually the best!!
GHDS
everyone swears by GHD but there are so many other products on the market now that are cheaper and just as good I have investigated and apparently the best allrounders are Morphy Richards Headgear they are only 拢15 if you buy them online and its free delivery oh and they are PINK!
ghd's. all others are pants.
GHD - MK4 Model
GHD
Tresemme are great!
Ghd's but if you are looking for something cheaper I have some Tresemme ones which are also quite good.
Defianately GHD's...... The professional model is the best.

Hope this helps xxx
Ghd
GHD
If you're in the UK - GHD's

If you're from the states - Chi

Without a doubt - those two are the best
I've tried various hair straightners and GHD are the best of the bunch.
Honestly? Expensive ones. My hair wont straighten with any straightners except the one I bought for $100. EXTREMELY expensive, but well worth it. :] Luv/Kodi

Try a GHD
Corioliss is the best brand in Oregon. I have very curly hair and it does a job well done.
GHD's really are the best hair straighteners around, I can straighten my hair in no time with mine and they have lasted me for years (well worth the money).

I got mine from http://www.salonlines.co.uk - as an added bonus they come with 4 free ghd hair products and they are only 拢97.95 with delivered the next day.

Can't get any better than that.
I have T3 tourmaline straighteners, they lock in moisture and I have REALLY curly hair and they work very well. If you want a cheaper pair which also work really well, try SCP ones.
GHD are good but mine broke well quickly now ive got FHD's (i think thats what there called) and they are amazing they were used in My boyf aunties salon they are fab

i have fine blonde hair and tried ghds but found them alittle too hot for my hair and also left it lank. I dont mind spending the money on a good pair if anyone can recommend any?Which hair straightners apart from ghd?
Chi is best, but they're like $100.

They're definitely worth it, though.Which hair straightners apart from ghd?

    CHI is defentally the best!!!!!
chi and conair. its silver and black. i think its $45.
Chi. U got the Chi Ultra, and the regular chi. Maybe those kinds of straighteners r too strong for your hair, but the Chi doesn't damage too much and straightens perfectly.

The Revlon one is also great! Cheaper, but great. It isn't too hot. Of course, the quality of it is just a bit worse than the Chi. But I suggest Revlon for fine hair, and naturally blonde hair's structure can be damaged easily.

If your hair is dyed blonde, u should use a balsam that protects from the high heat of blow-dryers and straighteners. Revlon has a great one! It's called straight hair days, and it's a part of Revlon's special collection of balsams. There is one for every hair type. It hydrates and straightens at the same time. And makes hair silky after straightening, not frizzy at all.

    Check it out!
I currently use Remington as my hair is fine. I think they are better than GHD
    remington
Well i have heard GHD straightners are really bad for your hair so i think a cheap one should do it but make sure it is long and chunky to straight your hair quickly hope this helps :D

    Which hair straightners are best?

Right now I'm using one of those Conair 30 second heat up things. It works pretty well for me, except it's not as powerful as I'd like it. I have thin to medium hair, and it's to my chest. I just can't get the kinks out of my hair with my Conair, what straightner would be more powerful but not too pricey?Which hair straightners are best?
I have to say Chi. I got the original (the preferred one) for Christmas last year and it worked so much better than the $25 Revlon that I had before. If you're getting a straightener for someone, get the original Chi. It works, it's fast, and it lasts long.

It is really one of the only straighteners that REALLY works. Spend the extra money- you'll appreciate it later. Watch for sales on it and remember... you could spend the same amount of money on a couple $25 straighteners- but none would last you as long.Which hair straightners are best?
ooo i just got a straightener for xmas and it works like crazy. I had a whole bunch that one side died after like a month, but this ones good, and it has like 4-5 settings that actually get hot, not like others where they like to pretend that they're heating up. Its a Conair Infiniti. it heats up fast too.

The hair straghtners at sephora are the best around 300 dollars
GHDs are the best, but they're really expensive

I have them, but they last for years
i have a CHI and i love it. Its the best straitner, but it's some what pricy.
you should get what i have!!! I always get compliments of how i get my hair so straight! Its like a blonde chinese persons hair, with more fullness though its really good!

    let me look
GHD's are deffinatly the best on the market. And their also great for curling hair as well which is an added bonus. And there around the same price as any other good quality hair straightner on the market
Go to a beauty supply store like Ulta or Sally's. Someone there can advise you on a specific model within your price range. Make sure that you get a ceramic one. They do much less damage to your hair.
i've heard that the remmington wet 2 straight is great - and its SUPER cheap too! (27ish dollars). it woks for wet, damp, or dry hair and is a 30 sec heatup. the 2'; would cover ore hair and not take as long. a lot of people say they love it. thats the one i'm gonna get. =)
Go to Sally's beauty supply. They have tons and price isn't bad. I bought the brand Jilbere De Paris. It is red plated and it is professional salon quality. I bought it for $70.00 and I can guarantee you that it works so good. It works even better than those $200.00 flat irons from the salon. Sally also gives you a 90 days return if you don't like it. Trust me on this one because I use it too and I have thick rough curly hair. Try it and remember to choose me as ';best answer'; because I know you'll love it once you try it.
i use hot tools and it works the best out of the 5 i have had...i love it and i think it was like $50 but it's probably cheaper, and i am not sure if that was really the price of it (it was like 3 years ago)
